Tanzania offers year-round safari opportunities, but the best time depends on your interests:

June to October (Dry Season): Best for wildlife viewing, especially the Great Migration in Serengeti (July-September). Animals congregate around water sources, making them easier to spot.

January to March: Excellent for witnessing calving season in Southern Serengeti. Thousands of wildebeest give birth, attracting predators.

We advise following standard travel precautions: don't display valuables, stay with your group, and follow your guide's instructions in wildlife areas.

Most visitors can obtain a visa on arrival at Tanzanian airports and borders. Single-entry tourist visas cost $50 for most nationalities (US citizens $100). You can also apply for an e-visa online before travel at eservices.immigration.go.tz. Requirements: valid passport (6+ months validity), return ticket, and proof of accommodation. Check current visa requirements for your nationality before travel.

Required: Yellow Fever vaccination certificate (if arriving from endemic countries)

Recommended: Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus, Rabies (if extensive wildlife contact), and Polio.

Yes, we require a deposit to secure your booking:

• Standard Safaris: 30% deposit
• Peak Season (June-Oct, Dec-Feb): 40% deposit
• Kilimanjaro Climbs: 40% deposit
• Luxury/Premium Lodges: 50% deposit

The remaining balance is due 60 days before your safari starts. Payment plans can be arranged for bookings made far in advance.
